The Diamond of Hope

The Diamond of Hope, donated by Veronica Bird, a 9.71 carat, nearly flawless diamond ring has been successfully auctioned at the Sotherby's of New York, June 15, 2000 Sales of Important Jewels to provide the seed money needed to fund the exclusive study of Prednisone and Autism at Georgetown University.


The proceeds of $33,500 were raised to benefit the Prednisone study.

The Veronica Bird Charitable Foundation wishes to express a special thank you to Sotherby's, Raylene Salthouse and GEORGE Magazine for their compassionate contribution to this cause.
